GTX is recalculated when OSS, SCH or TER changes. On creation it is updated from the flight and carrier creation tables. The rules for setting GTX are as follows:

  • At Heathrow a cut down AODB client is available at all departure gates, airline/agent staff use this to manually update the boarding stages Go to gate, Boarding, etc. They can also add pre-configured messages like 'First and Business Class pax board through door A' etc.
  • As well as this an automated facility to process departure stages automatically based on and offset from the departure time, for example
  • 60 mins before departure - Go to gate
  • 30 mins before departure - Boarding
