The date the Flight (starts to) operate.

Comments

 Detailed specification can vary between systems/airports. For instance:

  1. Flight-oriented: FlightOriginDate for scheduled (IATA) flights, and date of first EstimatedOffBlockTime for flights with only ATM data.
  2. FlightLeg-oriented: Date of first ScheduledOffBlockTime, or date of first EstimatedOffBlockTime (for flight legs without ScheduledOffBlockTime).
  3. Turnaround-oriented: Date of first ScheduledInBlockTime / ScheduledOffBlockTime depending on arrival or departure.
