Basic rules:

  • SSM messages creates/updates whole seasons and will replace information received with previous SSM messages.
  • ASM messages creates/updates one single flight and will replace information received with previous ASM and SSM messages.
  • If the XASM parameter is included, information received with SSM messages will also replace information received with ASM messages.

SITA addresses:

IATA messages to Avinor must be sent to SITA address OSLNOYA.

This will cause the flights to be created in all of the Avinor systems, databases, web pages and other integrations, including production and test systems.

SSIM files:

SSIM files are schedules printed in text files. They can be submitted twice a year, in conjuction with season change. Flight changes outside the season change must be updated using SSM or ASM messages.

Feedback and error messages related to message submission:

If you would like to be notified if an IATA message you submitted failed for any reason, you can be added to a notification list and be updated via e-mail.

How to view flights created:

Avinor has created a client for viewing the flights in our systems. This client is called "Flight Viewer" and can be accessed using this link: Flight Viewer Web (avinor.no).
