Overview

Airports and airlines are exchanging data to improve their operations:  Airport operations request to receive the latest change of flight movement data, pax and aircraft swap data in real-time from airlines.  Airlines are expecting to get the latest updated gate assignments and ground operation statuses, such as aircraft towing, de-icing,  baggage loading, etc.

Description:

Flight arrival or departure time and flight status will be updated during operational day. Airline sends these updates to airport.

Airline Data to Airport

Airport requests to receive the latest OPS flight schedule (plan) before the operational date start.  During the operation day, the airport expects to receive any changes from OPS flight times, routes pax, and status plus aircraft changes from airlines.

The current flight status. Can be one of: On-Time; Arrived; Departed; Boarding; Early; Delayed; Late; Landed; Cancelled; Diverted; Return To Ramp; See Agent; Airborne 

publicRemark 

Public remarks for the requesting station. Usually will contain the city name of the other end of the flight. 

tailNumber 

Tail Number of the aircraft operating the flight (if known) 

regNumber 

The registration number of the aircraft operating the flight (if known) 

fltSector 

Product type determined by the pairing of the departure and arrival stations. (International, Domestic, Transborder, Schengen ) 

acSubtype 

The equipment type (ie: 333, 320, 763, etc.)

4.2 Additional flight data from airline

Field 

Description 

EADT 

The UTC time when the leg is expected to land at arrival airport. 

ALDT 

The actual time when the leg has arrived (touch-down) at the arrival airport in UTC. 

ETOT 

The UTC time when the leg is expected to go airborne (takeoff). 

ATOT 

The actual time when the leg has taken off from the departure airport in UTC. 

DayOfOrigin 

The UTC day of origin for the first leg of the flight 

localDayOfOrigin 

The local day of origin for the first leg of the flight.  

Event 

List of defined events that have been recorded for this flight.  

stationFltTime 

The most current flight departure or arrival time stated in station local time, formatted as “YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:SSL”.  

groundTime 

The current operational groundtime identified as elapsed time. The elapsed time is based on the time the aircraft arrives (STA, ETA, ATA-onblock) at the station until the time the aircraft is to depart the station (STD, ETD, ATD-offblock). In format HHH:mm 

lastEditTime 

The last time this flight record was modified. 

Cancelled 

Special cancellation parameter. 0 is a regular flight, 1 is a flight that is cancelled, but still should be displayed. Any other value is a cancelled flight that should not be displayed.  

diversionAirport 

IATA code of the airport which the airplane will actually be arriving at in the case of a diversion or return to ramp. 

Airport Data to Airline

Airlines are expecting to receive the GATE and ground operation states such as aircraft towing,  de-icing.  Optionally airlines may interested to get the state of catering load,  baggage load and aircraft fueling from airport as well.

 Gate Changes + Ground Operations

The following table describes data elements are available in airport to airlines for gate changes and some ground operations in Apron,   it will be triggered by Gate or Ground Operation events except Towing.  Baggage belt allocations information is also available to airline baggage handlers as well.
