TermBagTagStatus
Business termBag Tag Status
Description

The status of a "Bag Tag" on one airport.

Legal values
The currently defined values for BagTagStatus. As information about bag tags, and what happens to a bag, can vary widely it is not possible to clearly define all possible transitions. All states can also be "end states" if no further information is received regarding a bag tag.
  • "ACTIVE"
Initial state after the bag tag is generated. Can be end state if no additional information is received for this bag tag. This will typically mean that it is unused, or that the bag was handled manually and not scanned again.

  • "INACTIVE"
The bag tag has been set to inactive.

  • "DELETED"
The bag tag has been deleted. Can be "un-deleted", typically a new BSM.

  • "DELIVERED"
The bag has been delivered to the passenger. In reality it would most often mean that it has been placed on a BaggageClaimUnit.

  • "LOADED"
The bag has been loaded onto an aircraft. Possible for BagCategory "CheckIn" or "Transfer".

  • "UNLOADED"
The bag has been unloaded from the arrival aircraft. Possible for BagCategory "Transfer" or "Final".

  • "LOST"
The bag has been registered as lost.

  • "UNKNOWN"

  • "DESTROYED"
The bag is known to be destroyed for some reason.
