Defined use cases:
De-icing can be seen from two viewpoints. What happens to any aircraft, as preparation for takeoff, and an airport oriented view. The airport oriented view includes things like de-icing stands, lines available for de-icing, taxi time from stands to de-icing and from de-icing to runway, and any queues. The airport oriented view is not included here.
This work package tries to describe use cases and de-ice relevant data related to one aircraft as preparation for takeoff. The aircraft is associated with a flight leg.
De-icing can be done on stand, but de-icing on dedicated de-icing areas seems to be more common as it is much easier to handle the environmental impact of the chemicals used.
NB! The data set below does not include identification of the aircraft/flight leg/departure that the de-ice data is for. This will be different if the context is AODB data or a service to set de-ice data.
