Scott is currently supporting the deployment of System Wide Information Management (SWIM) in European ATM.

He studied in Scotland for his LLB (Honours) degree and his MSc in Information Technology. He graduated in 2000.

He worked for six years as a systems analyst and software engineer before joining EUROCONTROL in 2006. He is now an Information Management expert and has contributed to the EUROCAE/RTCA Aerodrome Mapping standardisation effort and the development of the Aeronautical Information Exchange Model (AIXM). He led the development of the ATM Information Reference Model (AIRM).
